Kathmandu. The hearing on the writ petition filed at the Supreme Court (SC) challenging the decision of Attorney General Sabita Bhandari to amend the charge sheet filed against Rastriya Swatantra Party President and former home minister Rabi Lamichhane on money laundering and organised crime.

A division bench of Justices Manoj Kumar Sharma and Shreekanta Poudel will hear the case.TAG_OPEN_p_11 Earlier, a single bench of Justice Abdul Aziz Muslim had sought a written response from the Office of the Attorney General. After receiving the written reply, the Supreme Court has fixed the hearing by fixing the hearing.

The writ petitioners have claimed that the decision was based on political vendetta, ignored the interests of the savers and was contrary to Section 116 of the Code of Civil Criminal Procedure.TAG_OPEN_p_8
