Kathmandu. The Land Problems Resolution Committee under the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has issued a 35-day public notice for providing land to landless Dalits, landless squatters and unsystematic settlers.
The committee has published this notice for the last time on July 4 and called on the targeted groups of the designated districts and local levels to apply.
According to the notice, the landless and unsystematic settlers in the designated local units of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces will have to submit the application through the data collector deputed in the ward where they live.
The interested applicants should fill up the form in the format specified by the government and contact the ward office of the local level within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice.
The committee has urged some local levels to complete the process on time as it is the last chance for the data collection after the second time notice.
