Gold price soars

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has fluctuated in the Nepali market this week. The price of gold has increased sharply on Friday compared to Thursday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has increased by Rs 3,600 per tola on Friday. With this, the price of gold has increased by Rs 3,03,100 per tola.

The prices of gold and silver had started falling on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

On Thursday, the price of gold fell by Rs 2,300 to Rs 2,99,500. The price of gold rose by Rs 1,700 to Rs 3,01,800 on Tuesday and fell by Rs 900 to Rs 3,100 on Tuesday.

The price of hallmark gold has increased by Rs 1,200 per tola to Rs 3,200 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 150 to Rs 4,775 on Friday. On Thursday, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 60 to Rs 4,625.

The silver price went down by Rs 20 per tola on Wednesday to Rs 4,225 per tola on Wednesday.

On Monday, the price of silver also decreased by Rs 40 to Rs 4,620. On Sunday, the price of silver increased by Rs 60 to Rs 4,660.
