Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Kabindra Burlakoti has withdrawn his candidacy for the post of General Secretary of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP). Burlakoti, who was the outgoing general secretary, has left the field. A total of 8 candidates are vying for the post of general secretary in the ongoing general convention in Chitwan.
Earlier, Jagadish Kharel, who had filed his candidacy earlier, has also withdrawn his candidacy.
Pramod Neupane, Rajunath Pandey, Manish Jha, Ranju Darshana, Ganesh Karki, Ganesh Parajuli, Sagar Dhakal and Bipin Kumar Acharya are in the race for the post of general secretary.
