Kathmandu. Harka Sampang, chairman of the Labour and Culture Party, said the Indian security forces were threatening the locals in Susta. Speaking in the parliament today, he demanded the Speaker to summon the Defence Minister.
Sampang said that even after the Prime Minister made a controversial statement on the border, they protested by showing placards for the 11th day.
He said, “The Prime Minister will not come. Who is the Defense Minister of the Government of Nepal, the Speaker should rule and call him. I want to ask him a question. Videos of the SSB coming to Susta and reprimanding the Nepali brothers and the locals fighting for their role have surfaced.
Did you take an oath that our Nepal Army should not go to the border? You have to show what the contract is that you should not be sent for inspection. We want to know and understand the sovereign parliamentarians. Find a defense minister. ’
It should be noted that Prime Minister Balendra Shah is also handling the responsibility of the Defense Minister.
