Kathmandu. The Nepali Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has urged the entire Nepali community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) not to disseminate unconfirmed and misleading content through social sites.
Issuing ‘Advisory-2’, the embassy has requested all not to publish or disseminate information, rumors or materials not authentically confirmed by unknown sources.
Sharing of unconfirmed content through social media platforms or other technical means in recent times may create confusion and confusion regarding the security situation, so everyone has been cautioned not to do so.
The embassy has also appealed to the people to be responsible for taking photos and videos related to the situation.
The notice states that the relevant authorities of the UAE have already issued warnings that such activities will be punishable by law. The embassy has appealed to the Nepalis living there to fully comply with the local laws and refrain from spreading rumours.
The embassy has requested the UAE government to get updates on the evolving situation through the websites and notices of the official bodies of the UAE government.
It has been requested to consider only the information and updates issued by the government bodies of the UAE.
Earlier, the embassy had issued the first advisory, urging people not to travel unnecessarily.
