A fine of up to one lakh rupees will be imposed for printing the poster without permission.

Kathmandu. The government has decided to impose a fine of up to Rs 100,000 for printing graffiti without taking approval from the Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee. The committee has made it mandatory to take permission from the Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee while publishing the wallpaper.

Executive Director of the Committee Laxman Panthi said that the calendar and calendar cannot be published without approval from the committee as per the law. Clause 7 (j) and (n) of the Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee Formation Order 2077 BS states that the calendar and wall calendar can be published only after obtaining approval from the committee.

Chapter 15 of the committee’s directive states that a fine of Rs 10,000 to Rs 100,000 will be imposed if the calendar is published without taking approval. The District Administration Office has been assigned the responsibility of monitoring the publication of the calendar without taking approval. Executive Director Panthi said that approval should be taken from all the organizations, companies, bodies or individuals publishing calendars and wall calendars.

Approval must be obtained for the publication of calendars or posters that are published for the purpose of sale and are to be distributed free of cost. The committee has fixed the fee for the approval of the publication of the wall. As per the bill, the government has charged Rs 2,000 for the approval of the calendar to be published by educational institutions, Rs 5,000 for the calendar to be published for free and Rs 10,000 for the approval of the calendar to be published by the price of the calendar to be published by the committee.
