Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump has said that he is suspending military strikes on Iran at the request of the Gulf countries.

He said he had stopped military action at the request of the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and that “serious talks are now underway”. US President Donald Trump has suspended military strikes on Iran for the time being, Truth Social said in a statement.

Meanwhile, a senior Iranian military commander has warned the US not to make strategic mistakes and wrongdoings again. On February 28, Israeli and US forces launched airstrikes on Iran, in response to which Iran fired drones and missiles at Israeli and US military targets in the Gulf countries.

Iran has also said that it is in talks with the US through Pakistani mediators. Recently, Trump warned that time was running out for Iran and if they did not act quickly, nothing would be left.
