Kathmandu. NASA has successfully launched the Artemis-2 lunar mission. This spacecraft took off from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA.
The mission was carrying three American astronauts, Reed Wiseman, Christina Koch and Victor Glover, and a Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hanson. NASA said the crew involved in the mission was safe and excited. The astronauts, who will spend a total of 10 days in this spacecraft, will not step on the moon but plan to go to the moon.
This mission is an important step in the historic plan to take humans back to the moon. In this mission, astronauts will orbit around the moon and return to Earth. The crew is experiencing stunning views of the Earth and the Moon from space. NASA astronaut Reed Wiseman said he had seen a spectacular sight and a spectacular moonrise.
According to NASA, this mission is expected to land humans on the moon in the future and then pave the way for the journey to Mars. In the 1960s and 70s, humans stepped on the moon in the famous ‘Apollo’ mission.
