Kathmandu. U.S. President Donald Trump has said the U.S. will leave Iran “within two to three weeks.” But for that to happen, he argues, the Iranian regime must be certain that it will not develop nuclear weapons for years.

In the Oval Office of the White House, Trump indicated that the US would soon be in the process of withdrawing troops from Iran, and there was no need to prolong the war.

Iran’s Defense Minister Massoud Pezeskian has said that Tehran is ready to end the war. On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran. The conflict in the Middle East has escalated since the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Trump has also claimed that the goal in Iran has been achieved. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not yet set a deadline for ending the war.

Referring to the rising global oil prices due to the war, President Trump said that the price of oil in the market will fall as soon as the US military campaign ends. He also said that it would take 15 to 20 years for Iran to rebuild its country from the attacks of the US and Israel.
