Silence period begins: Police tightened to stop violation in Jhapa-5 (7 photos)

Kathmandu. Silence period has been imposed across the country as the election day draws closer. The silence period began at 12:00 am on Monday for 48 hours. Asking for votes and other political activities are not allowed during this period.

Meanwhile, police have become active in Jhapa-5 after the silence period was violated. Checking has been tightened and surveillance has been increased for suspicious activities.
