Naga Babas arrive at Pashupatinath for Maha Shivaratri (Seven photos)

Kathmandu. With the festival of Maha Shivaratri approaching, Naga babas from various parts of Nepal including India have started arriving in Kathmandu. On the same occasion, the Naga Babas arrived in Kathmandu today and entered the Pashupatinath Temple through gate number 1. Of the four sects of Jogi, Sanyasi, Vaishnav, Nanak and Udasi, Naga Sanyasi are included. On the occasion of Mahashivaratri, devotees of four different denominations visit the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu.

The number of devotees visiting the Pashupatinath temple premises has increased with the approaching Mahashivaratri festival. The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) has intensified its management for the Mahashivaratri festival.
