Kathmandu. The Election Commission (EC) has intensified preparations for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4. According to the EC, the transportation of ballot boxes and other primary goods to the district has started since last week. Similarly, stamps, stationery and additional necessary materials will also be made available soon and will be sent to the constituencies.
As the EC said, nine types of election materials would be sent from the centre and 37 types of election materials would be managed in the districts. The EC has stressed on adopting a quick and transparent process for coordination, storage and logistics management in election preparations. It also plans to strictly follow the security and election rules.
