Kathmandu. Russian President Vladimir Putin presented the President’s 2025 Presidential Prize to Young Scientists at a special ceremony in the Kremlin on the eve of Russian Science Day.
The award, given to young scientists under the age of 35, recognizes innovators who have contributed to a country’s economy, social sector and defence capabilities.TAG_OPEN_p_5
This year, Alexander Nikin and Pavel Moseyev created safe nuclear batteries, Dmitry Butilsky developed a technology to extract lithium from water, Artyom Isaeyev researched new viruses in medicine, and Viktoria Vedyushkina’s team has developed mathematical methods to support lasers, AI, and quantum technology.TAG_OPEN_p_4
Putin handed over the prize, saying the inventions would give Russia the ability to take an independent lead in technology.TAG_OPEN_p_3 Each winner received 5 million rubles.
