. A passenger plane has crashed in northern Colombia, killing all 15 people on board.
Colombia’s state-owned airline Satena confirmed the crash.TAG_OPEN_p_3 The aircraft involved in the crash was a Beechcraft 1900 model. The cause of the crash has not been released.
The wreckage of the plane was found in a mountainous area, the BBC reported.TAG_OPEN_p_2 There were 13 passengers and two crew members on board. Among the passengers were lawmaker Diogenes Quintero Amaya and Carlos Salcedo, a candidate in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
