Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump will spend nearly $1.4 billion in his family-related cryptocurrency transactions in 2025, according to the latest data.

According to a 927-page economic report released yesterday by the US Government Ethics Office, Trump has made a huge income from transactions related to World Liberty Financial and the Trump cryptocurrency. According to Forbes, his personal wealth increased from $2.3 billion to $6.5 billion between 2024 and 2026.

According to the report, Trump received nearly $55 million in royalties from his relationship with start-up World Liberty Financial, and an additional $635 million in licensing deals related to Trump’s cryptocurrency, which were announced before his inauguration in January 2025. The company was co-founded in September 2024 by Trump’s sons and the son of Special Middle East envoy Steve Wittoff.

Trump has been accused of a conflict of interest over his efforts to deregulate the sector he has invested in during his presidency. The White House has denied the allegations, saying neither the president nor his family were involved in any conflict of interest. White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly has described Trump as the “crypto capital of the world” and said that all of his administration’s decisions are in the best interest of the American people.

According to the 1978 law, the president and vice president are required to disclose their assets and income. First Lady Melania Trump has earned more than $10 million from a documentary she made for Amazon and more than $500,000 from her book ‘Melania’. Trump has also made significant income from shares of crypto companies such as Coinbase, various Trump brand merchandise and the Bible he sold in collaboration with singer Lee Greenwood.

Trump’s assets are currently held in a trust run by his son Donald Trump Jr. However, the trust’s provision allows it to be dissolved at any time, so Trump could regain direct control of the assets when his second term ends in 2029.

In the same report, Vice President J.D. Vance also revealed that he received between $1 million and $5 million in royalties from his 2016 memoir “Hillbilly Elegy.”
