Kathmandu. National Assembly member Tulasa Kumari Dahal has said that the outbreak of measles-rubella is increasing in Malangawa of Sarlahi district.

Speaking at a meeting of the National Assembly on Tuesday, she informed that children from two months to 14 years of age are affected.

According to him, although the District Health Office has taken some initiatives, it is not enough.

“The outbreak of measles-rubella is increasing in Malangawa of Sarlahi. Children as young as 14 have been affected for two months,” she said. I would like to request and request the local level to take initiative through public awareness and health hygiene campaign as the disease is spreading to other municipalities as well. ’

Stating that there was a risk of disease spreading in other local levels as well, Dahal stressed the need for additional initiatives from the local levels through awareness raising and health sanitation campaign.
