Poudel elected chairman of Insurance Authority of Nepal (IBA)

Kathmandu. The government has appointed Chandrakala Poudel as the chairperson of Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA). A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday decided to give the responsibility to Secretary Poudel at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration until further arrangement.

The meeting also decided to give permission to Sutikhola Hydropower Project, Tamakoshi, Upper Sankhuwasabha and other hydropower projects to use the national forest area. Government Spokesperson and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal briefed about the Cabinet decisions.
