Ram Kumari Jhankri elected National Assembly member from Lumbini

Kathmandu. Ram Kumari Jhankri of Gulmi has been elected to the National Assembly from Lumbini Province. She garnered 6,303 votes.

Her main rival was Durga Kumari Bhandari of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) who got 1,362 votes.TAG_OPEN_p_5

Similarly, Padma Pandit was also contested in the women’s category from Rastriya Janamorcha.TAG_OPEN_p_4

Out of a total of 83 votes cast their votes in the State Assembly and 9 out of 217 voters in the local level category, 5 did not cast their ballots.TAG_OPEN_p_3
