Kathmandu’s skies cloudy due to snowfall and rain (Seven Photos)

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The weather across the country including in the Kathmandu Valley has become cloudy due to the influence of the low pressure system. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, rainfall occurred in some places of the Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces on Sunday morning.

On Wednesday, there will be partly cloudy in the hilly region while there will be partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Light rain will occur in few places of the high hilly and mountainous region while there are chances of light snowfall in one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous region of Koshi, Gandaki Province and Karnali Province.

Snowfall occurred in various districts of the western part of the country on Saturday. The first snowfall of the year has made the local farmers happy and their daily life has been affected. Experts have advised people to wear masks while going out of the house due to poor air quality in the Kathmandu Valley. According to Swiss air pollution monitoring app IQ Air, Kathmandu’s air quality is “very unhygienic”. See the rest of the image:
