France to ban children under 15 from social media

The president expressed his desire to implement the ban in a television video from the next academic session (September). French lawmakers are already debating a bill in this regard.

This ban will apply to popular platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Australia was the first country in the world to ban children under the age of 16 from using social media.
