17 in-contact police personnel asked to appear before police within 7 days

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Headquarters has directed 17 police personnel to report to their offices within seven days, citing that they have been absent voluntarily for different dates.

Issuing a notice today, the headquarters has asked the absent police personnel to be present with clarification. According to the Police Headquarters, they were compelled to issue a public notice as they did not come into contact with the office even after searching for them and pasting information.

Among the police personnel who will be absent are an Assistant Sub Inspector, a Police Constable, an Assistant Constable, 11 Police Constables and three Office Assistants.TAG_OPEN_p_5

} The Police Headquarters has warned that if the police do not appear before the service with satisfactory explanation after disclosing the reason for their absence within seven days except the time limit of the road, they will be removed from the service as per the regulation.
