Manoj Darji, an independent candidate from Syangja-1, withdraws his candidacy

. Manoj Nepali Darji, who had filed his candidacy as an independent candidate from Syangja constituency-1, has withdrawn his candidacy. Thirty-four-year-old Darji of Aandhikhola Rural Municipality-2 said he withdrew his candidacy citing family reasons.

Darji, who is contesting the election with the aim of bridging the gap between the poor and the rich, has made it clear that he could not continue his candidacy due to personal and family problems.TAG_OPEN_p_3

According to Upendra Prasad Gautam, Chief Election Officer of Syangja, Darji has filed an application to withdraw his candidacy within the stipulated timeframe.TAG_OPEN_p_2 According to him, only one candidate from Syangja-1 withdrew his candidacy out of the scheduled date of withdrawal of candidacy till 1:00 pm today.
