‘We will run National Assembly as per people’s aspiration and expectation’: Chair Dahal

. KATHMANDU — Chairman of the National Assembly Narayan Prasad Dahal has called for cooperation from all political parties to make the National Assembly functional and result-oriented.

In a speech delivered on the occasion of the 19th session of the National Assembly on Friday, Chairman Dahal urged the lawmakers to play an effective role in enhancing the dignity of the House and making laws.TAG_OPEN_p_5

He said, “Laws should be expedited addressing the people’s sentiments and needs.TAG_OPEN_p_4 I am confident that all the parties will advise and cooperate to make the convention a success. ”

Thanking the government and agencies for their support in the construction of physical infrastructure of the National Assembly, Chairman Dahal said that the assembly not only formulates laws but also has the main responsibility to make the government’s activities pro-people and effective.TAG_OPEN_p_3
