Nepali Congress to announce Gagan Thapa as next PM

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Thapa has been announced as the next Prime Minister of Nepal. A meeting of the party’s central committee scheduled to be held in Sanepa on Monday has decided to propose Thapa as the next prime minister of the party. According to NC joint general secretary Prakash Snehi Rasaili, the meeting will be held at 1:00 pm tomorrow. “A meeting of the party is being held tomorrow and the meeting will take necessary decision regarding the preparations for the election,” he said. ’

The Nepali Congress is preparing to unveil its election manifesto on May 10. One of the party leaders said that the party will participate in the election by projecting President Thapa as the future prime minister in the manifesto. “The meeting to be held in Sanepa tomorrow will take a decision,” the leader said. We are preparing to include this issue in the manifesto itself. The NC is currently writing its manifesto under the leadership of President Thapa.
