ICC Women’s World T20 Qualifier: Nepal lose to Netherlands by 2 runs

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal lost to the Netherlands by 2 runs in the second match held today under the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier. In reply, Nepal managed to score only 138 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 7 wickets.

Rubina Chhetri and Sita Rana Magar added only 10 runs in the last over while needing 13 runs to win.TAG_OPEN_p_9 Needing 48 runs in 24 balls, Rubina and Sita took the match to the last over. Rubina Chhetri scored an unbeaten 37 runs while Sita Rana Magar scored an unbeaten 27 runs. Bindu Rawal scored 18 runs.
