Kathmandu. Co-coordinator of the Communist Party of Nepal and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the country is currently in crisis. He said that it is time to give necessary advice to the government instead of criticizing the government in this time of crisis.
Speaking at a unity meeting and training program organized in Janakpurdham on Sunday, Joint Coordinator Nepal said that he has kept an eye on the government’s work. He said that he has given necessary suggestions to the government to solve the problem in difficult situation. Joint Coordinator Nepal said that he has suggested the government to search for the missing people and retrieve the buried bodies and hand them over to the relatives. He also drew the attention of the government towards the fact that bodies have been found in India as well. He expressed his commitment that the party would help the government in distributing relief and supporting those in trouble.
Joint Coordinator Nepal also suggested the government to make arrangements from now on to be prepared for such disasters if they face another disaster in the coming days. Recalling the cabinet meeting held at Sagarmatha to set an example of climate protection when he was the Prime Minister, Joint Coordinator Nepal stressed on the need to conserve nature.
Joint Coordinator Nepal directed the party leaders and cadres to go to the ward level and inform them about the work done by their party in the past. He admitted that they had failed in the publicity and said that they would now go to the people and inform them about the work done by them and their party.
