Kathmandu. The United States has announced more than $36 million in life-saving humanitarian assistance for flood-affected people in Nepal.
“The United States stands with the people of Nepal in this hour of crisis,” the US State Department said in a message posted on X.
Under the assistance, 10,000 flood-affected households will be provided with emergency food for three months.
“The safety of US citizens is our top priority,” the ministry said in a statement.
