KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that all political forces and society should be united to face the disaster by being sensitive towards the loss of life and property caused by the floods in the Bhotekoshi river.

Talking to media persons on Thursday, Prachanda stressed on the need to move forward with mutual understanding during the disaster. He said that the floods in Bhotekoshi and the ‘terrible’ damage caused by it should be transformed into a new resolution of national unity.

He said, “There is also human and physical loss, we should move forward with understanding. It should be turned into a new resolution of national unity.” ’

Responding to a query from media persons about the government’s activism, he said that the activism of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister was good.
