Kathmandu. There is possibility of heavy rainfall in many parts of the country in the next three days. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall at many places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces with the monsoon remaining active.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces towards the afternoon. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the Tarai region of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at a few places of Lumbini Province and Madhes Province and Koshi Province and at a few places of Sudurpaschim Province.
Heavy rainfall has been forecast at one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces tonight. Similarly, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces towards the afternoon and at one or two places of hilly areas of Koshi Province and Tarai Province towards night.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. The Division has urged the people to adopt necessary precaution as there is possibility of sudden increase in the flow of landslides and rivers in the hilly region due to rainfall. The Division has advised the people to travel only after understanding the weather condition and to adopt special precaution in rivers, streams and risky slopes.
