Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 1,178 vehicles.
The traffic police carried out checks at different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Thursday morning took action against 66 drivers for drunk driving, 69 for driving under the influence of CCTVs and 66 for using red beacons.
Similarly, 141 drivers were taken for speeding, 42 for not wearing horns, 75 for lane crossing, 35 for unhygienic conditions, 21 for one-way traffic and 663 for others.
