More than 4.82 crore offerings collected in Pathibhara in a year

Kathmandu. More than 48.2 million offerings have been collected in Pathibhara of Taplejung district in a year. A total of Rs 4,82,03,855 was collected from mid-July to mid-July.

According to the details made public by the Pathivara Area Development Committee, Rs 1.39 lakh was collected in the month of July, Rs 9.97 lakh in August and Rs 33.82 lakh in September. Similarly, Rs 34,48,500 was collected in the month of Kartik, Rs 75,49,100 in November and Rs 24,25,000 in Poush.

According to Prajin Hangbang, executive director of Pathivara Area Development Committee, Rs 18,47,500 was collected in the month of Magh, Rs 31.11 lakh in the month of February and Rs 58,44,500 in the month of March. According to him, the highest amount of Rs 10.6 million was collected in the month of April. This is probably the first record of collecting more than 10 million offerings in a single month, Executive Director Hangbang said.

Similarly, Rs 460,600 was collected in the month of Jeth and Rs 3,272,655 in the month of June. According to the committee, a total of 2,502,078 devotees visited the Pathivara temple in a year.

Similarly, Rs 318,500 has been collected in the month of July of the current fiscal year, according to the Pathivara Area Development Committee. A total of 2,469 people visited Pathibhara and offered prayers.
