Kathmandu. Two people have been arrested on the charge of stealing public transport.
The arrestees have been identified as Ajay Basnet, 31, of Kangel, Solukhumbu and Bhabindra BK, 43, of Damak Municipality-6, Jhapa. A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested them.
According to the police, they had fled from the old bus park to Bijuli Bazaar on August 27 after stealing a gold chain worn around the neck of a person. The arrested have been sent to the Police Circle, Singha Durbar for further action.
