Kathmandu. Before reaching the famous Pathivara Temple in Taplejung, a huge bell structure has been made from the bell at the entrance. A huge bell-shaped structure has been constructed near the entrance of the temple by connecting about 2,030 bells.
The structure is 16 feet high and 12 feet wide and weighs 6,000 kg. The bell was constructed at a cost of Rs 10 lakh, according to Prajin Hambang, executive director of Pathivara Area Development Committee.
Lately, it has become a new center of attraction for devotees. It has also enhanced the beauty of the temple area. A bid was invited to auction the old bells weighing 16,000 kg for the management of bells in the Pathivara temple area.
However, after protests, the process was cancelled and a huge bell structure was constructed from the bell, according to the Pathivara Area Development Committee.
