Kathmandu. A direct question-answer session of lawmakers has been scheduled with Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) on August 26 in the House of Representatives.
Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal informed that a question-answer session has been scheduled with the Prime Minister in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday. Speaker Aryal had given a ruling to the Prime Minister to be present in the House of Representatives and answer the questions raised by the lawmakers.
Lawmakers had been demanding clarification from the parliament after Prime Minister Shah made controversial statement on the border issue in the House of Representatives on May 17.
Speaker Aryal said that he has made the ruling in the name of the Prime Minister as per the demand of the opposition parties. The questioning members can submit their questions in writing to the Secretary of the House of Representatives by 1 pm this Friday.
