Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the Supreme Court has given justice to him time and again.
Speaking at the concluding session of the National Conference organized by the Non-Establishment Committee here today, Deuba said, “All the courts from the Supreme Court have given us justice since yesterday. Even when the king was imprisoned, the royal commission was abolished, and the panchayat had also imprisoned me. Even now, the court has saved me, which is why I have come to Nepal. ’
Earlier, Deuba had returned home after 5 months of treatment in Singapore and Hong Kong.
He said that they have filed a case at the Supreme Court regarding the special general convention. Deuba did not attend the special general convention in December.
“We have still filed a case in court. I refused to hold a special convention. I told you. Let’s hold a special general convention with the consent of all the parties. A special congress was forcibly held and many friends were unjustly excluded. We went to court against it,” he said. The court’s full decision is awaited. Before that, I don’t have to say much about the courts. I trust the court and obey the court. ’

“I am personally a Hindu. The marriage was done according to Hindu traditions. I go to Pashupatinath and worship. It’s up to the people to decide what won’t happen. There should be freedom of religion. ’
