Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 991 vehicles.
As of Friday morning, the Traffic Police conducted checks in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley and took action against 09 drivers for drunk driving, 65 drivers through CCTV and 47 for using red beacons.
Similarly, 144 drivers were penalized for speeding, 34 for not wearing horns, 45 for lane crossing, 41 for not being in good condition, 9 for one-way traffic and 597 for others.
