Govt committed to fulfilling people’s necessities: Finance Minister

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. KATHMANDU: Swarnim Wagle has said that the government is committed to fulfilling the basic needs of the people.

In a meeting with voters at Byas municipality-10, Dumsi in Tanahu today, he said the government was active to fulfill people’s aspiration despite limited resources.

Finance Minister Wagle said, “There are limitations in the budget, but the amount is less. People’s expectations are high. People demand drinking water, roads, schools, health posts, embankments and playgrounds in whichever settlement they reach, and the government is trying its best to address it. ’

Stating that he was committed to the development of Tanahun, he said initiatives were taken to distribute the budget this time.

Recalling that the people of Tanahun had elected him to the House of Representatives twice, Finance Minister Wagle said that the people of Tanahun would never forget the virtues and the debt they had for the same.

He said that works on drinking water and embankment in Dumsi would be forwarded after holding discussion with the concerned ministry. On the occasion, the locals informed him that 500 households in Dumsi were facing a shortage of drinking water.
