Kathmandu. The stock market fell for the third consecutive trading day. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 9.02 points to close at 2,641.06 points today.
The sub-indices of all the sub-indices except hydropower, production and processing, microfinance and non-life insurance have decreased. Shares of 179 companies fell today and 82 declined. Shares of 15 companies have remained unchanged.
Today, shares of Reliable Samriddhi Yojana-2 are 9. It has decreased by 70 percent. Overall, shares of Corporate Development Bank rose nearly 8.5 percent on the day of the market’s decline.
Today, the transaction amount has also decreased. A total of 10.9 million units of shares of 352 companies were traded for Rs 3.67 billion on Friday.
