Kathmandu. A total of 41 incidents of natural disasters have occurred in various districts of the country from 10:00 am on August 9 to 10:00 am on August 7.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, 20 people were injured in the incident.
During the period, 20 incidents of snakebite, nine incidents of fire, eight incidents of landslide, one incident of lightning, two incidents of heavy rainfall and one incident of wildlife attack were recorded. According to the NRA, 173 police personnel have been mobilized to assist in the disaster incident.
As many as 20 people were injured in the snakebite incident. An estimated Rs 38,47,500 has been damaged in the disaster, while four roads have been blocked and one cattle have lost their lives.
Meanwhile, a total of 4,452 incidents of natural disasters have been recorded across the country from April 15 to August 7. In these incidents, 205 people have died, five are missing, 1,347 have been injured and 5,492 families have been affected.
