Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has underlined the need of intensifying the struggle for the rights of the people. He said this while issuing a message of best wishes on the occasion of World Day of Indigenous Nationalities.

“It is the need of the hour to further strengthen the struggle for the remaining rights by protecting the inclusive, proportional and participatory rights achieved through the long struggle and sacrifice of the Nepali people for identity, rights, representation and respect,” he said.

“National unity cannot be strengthened without respect for diversity and equal rights,” he said. “Inclusive democracy, social justice and a strong nation could be built only through just representation and respectful participation of all castes, languages, cultures, regions and communities,” he said.
