Kathmandu. A man has been arrested for cheating people on the pretext of sending them to the UK.
Police on Tuesday arrested 26-year-old Rizwan Sesh of Janaknandani Rural Municipality-2 of Dhanusha Metropolitan City-31 on charge of cheating money on the pretext of sending him to the UK on the pretext of lucrative salary.
A police team deputed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku arrested Rizwan from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31 on the basis of a complaint filed by a victim that Rizwan had taken Rs 700,000 from a victim in the name of sending him to the UK.
He has been sent to the Foreign Employment Department, Tahachal, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
