Stock market rises to Rs 4.4 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market, which had been falling for 2 consecutive days, has increased today. The NEPSE index increased by 4.79 points to close at 2,667.97 points.

The sub-indices of all the sub-indices except hotel and tourism, hydropower, production and processing, others and trade decreased.

Shares of 122 companies rose today and 143 declined. Shares of 11 companies have remained unchanged.

Shares of Solu Hydropower Ltd rose by 15 percent today. Shares of Everest Color fell 9 percent on the day of the market’s general rise.

Today, the transaction amount has also increased along with NEPSE. A total of 167,000 units of shares of 350 companies were traded for Rs 4.40 billion today.
