Kathmandu. The government has appointed Yankee Ukyab as the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Board of Nepal. Spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel said that today’s cabinet meeting took 7 decisions including this.

– Appoint Yanky Ukayab as the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Board.

The Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Committee Formation Order-2054 will be scrapped and Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Committee will be approved to merge with Nepal Transit and Warehousing Management Company Limited.

– The Livestock Slaughterhouse and Meat Testing Act, 2055 will be implemented throughout the country in a phased manner.

– Approval will be given to table the Children (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 to the Federal Parliament.

Professor Dr. Khadga Bahadur KC will be appointed as the Chairman and Prof. Dr. Rojish Shrestha as Secretary of the University Grants Commission.

– Arrangements will be made for compensation, relief and treatment to those killed and injured during the demonstrations in Sunsari and Siraha districts.
