Kathmandu. CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has accused the ruling party of indulging in violence by bringing its own cadres on the streets and blaming the opposition for it.
General Secretary Pokharel took to social media Facebook to criticize the latest strategy of the ruling party.
He said that his cadres were turned into agitators and then held talks with them and pretended to compromise. Pokharel wrote on Facebook, “Isn’t this tactic of making one’s own cadres agitators, negotiating with them, and blaming others for the violence?”
General Secretary Pokharel’s statement has come in view of the various agitations taking place in the country in recent times, the clashes that took place during that time and the agreements reached with the government side. He accused the ruling forces of trying to escape by systematically provoking the situation and blaming the political parties for it.
