Kathmandu. The Nepal Teachers’ Federation has decided to launch a protest from August.
According to FNJ General Secretary Tula Bahadur Thapa, a meeting of the FNJ Council decided to launch the protest. “We have decided to launch the protest from August. The date and date of the agitation will be decided by the extended office meeting,” he said.
The FNJ has differed on the issues related to the demands of the Education Act and the 10th amendment to the regulations. “The Education Act should be enacted. The provisions in the Tenth Amendment are not good,” he said.
The Federation has been demanding the transfer of teachers, school employees, ECD teachers and temporary teachers.
