Kathmandu. A prisoner who escaped from Bharatpur jail on September 11, 2082 during the Jenji agitation has been arrested with a loaded gun.
Aita Singh Lama, 45, of Rapti municipality-11 was arrested by the District Police Office, Chitwan.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, he was taken under control from his home on August 3.
Lama was arrested by a police team from Area Police Office, Bhandara, who was serving 15 years in jail and a fine of Rs 1 million for killing one-horned rhino.
Police have recovered a loaded gun and other materials from him. Information Officer at the District Police Office, Chitwan, Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandra Bhushan Yadav said that necessary investigation is underway into the case.
