Stock market rises after 4 days

Kathmandu. The stock market, which has been falling for 4 consecutive days, has increased by double digits today. The NEPSE index increased by 12.96 points to close at 2,685.54 points.

The sub-indices of all the sub-indices except non-life insurance and trading have increased today. Shares of 180 companies rose today and 82 declined. Similarly, shares of 13 companies have remained unchanged.

Shares of Everest Color are up 15 percent today. Overall, shares of Bottlers Nepal (Terai) fell by 5.33 percent on the day.

Today, the transaction amount has also increased along with NEPSE. A total of 8,851,000 units of shares of 337 companies were traded for Rs 3.75 billion today against Rs 3.38 billion yesterday.
