Kathmandu. Nepali Congress lawmaker Arjun Narsingh KC has accused Prime Minister Balen Shah of ignoring the House of Representatives. Speaking in the meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that so far the Prime Minister has been present in the Parliament for about 2 to 3 hours in 7 days.
He said, “The general public also want to know whether the government’s newness to the government which has come to a majority with an overwhelming majority and confidence is not run through the parliamentary process, but through Facebook status.” ’
He said that the state’s utter neglect towards the citizens, increasing cases of self-immolation and suicide, the firing incident in Kaptangunj and the situation of army mobilization pose a serious challenge to the unity and uniqueness of religion, sect and culture.
He said that life of the landless squatters, microfinance victims, inflation and economic recession has made life difficult.
