Kathmandu. U.S. President Donald Trump has said that the United States and Iran are “very friendly.”
According to the BBC, he indicated that he was not in favor of prolonging the talks. Trump claims that Iran has now asked for the sanctions to be lifted. The ceasefire comes after nearly two weeks of daily US attacks and clashes.
Trump has decided to stop the US attack on Iran and has asked the mediators between the two countries to give him another chance to talk. Trump has claimed that the US has inflicted heavy damage on Iran’s navy, air force, military leadership and defense systems.
He said most of Iran’s drone and missile production capabilities had been destroyed. Meanwhile, Iran has said that it has stopped the attack despite no direct talks with the United States.
